Oh, so THIS is what it feels like to breathe...

There is, for the moment, one viable heartbeat. It's tiny and faint and too early to tell if it will be the only one. However, it seems obvious that I probably won't have more than twins. I'm still holding my breath for a singleton, though. There are still three gestational sacs. They are 1.1 cm, .98cm, and .85cm. I think. They weren't being terribly forthcoming with the information this morning.

I'm supposed to go back in a week, but I think I'm going to keep my scheduled appointment for Tuesday. That's when Dr. Amazing is covering monitoring, and I'd really much rather be there when he is. I'll check with my nurse today and see what she suggests.

Glad that you can breathe again. Definitely keep that appointment with Dr. Amazing - get as many u/s as you need to feel comfortable.

And congrats on the heartbeat!

Whooosh--that is the sound of letting out the breath I was holding for you! I'm so glad that you saw the heartbeat today of the singleton. Hopefully you'll know more on Tuesday, but right now, I hope you have a wonderful weekend and Shabbat.

Errrrr....WOW.

Miss just a couple of days of reading your blog, and I swear I have a neck injury from leaning in too close to my screen to read and re-read. And my hand hurts from scrolling down and back up and back DOWN to make sure I wasn't missing anything else.

I am also now just exhaling.

I will think good thoughts for you. I hope you get to see Dr. Amazing and come out with some good, calming information.

Take care of yourself!!

I know what you are going through, and I wish I could say something really useful. All I can think if is to repeat what my doctors kept telling me: "a lot can happen", as in, there might be 3 now, but it might change. Triplets pregnancies are real scary and I hope that you will have "no more than twins" as you put it. Take good care of yourself. I hope the bleeding will stop and that your next ultrasound will give you some relief. Good luck with everything
